Fuel Rod Cannon

The Type-33 Light Anti-Armor Weapon, more commonly known as the Fuel Rod Gun, is a Covenant shoulder-fired mortar/radiation weapon. The Fuel Rod Gun is a man-portable version of the Covenant fuel rod cannon that is mounted on Covenant vehicles - it is a support weapon that is commonly employed in both anti-personnel and anti-vehicle roles. It appears to be recoil-operated - and fires 3.8cm explosive ballistic incendiary gel projectiles, that travel to the target in a parabolic arc. The design of the fuel rod gun is very unique, more akin to large ornament than deadly weapon; the barrel of the weapon is long and black covered by thick gold plates that make up the body of the weapon; the ammunition is loaded on the top aft section of the fuel rod gun, and can hold 5 ballistic projectiles, which seem to be held together by straps, before needing to be reloaded. Because of the weapon’s visibility it is just as effective as a psychological weapon, it is often the case that soldiers will ignore closer, more obvious targets in order to eliminate a Type-33 and its operator. The destructive power of the Fuel Rod Gun is so effective that human forces often focus all of their attention on infantry wielding the weapon. One strike from a fuel rod will instantly kill any light organic target. Infantry and light vehicles immediately outside of the kill radius are swatted away by the concussive force of the blast. The Fuel Rod Gun is highly effective against lightly armored vehicles as well, able to destroy them with only a few hits.

Plasma Launcher

The Type-52 Guided Munitions Launcher/Explosive (T52 GML/E), more commonly known as the Plasma Launcher, is a plasma-based explosive launcher used by the Covenant Empire during the Human-Covenant War. The weapon is capable of launching up to four large explosive plasma grenade-like bolts at a single target, these can be fired individually or all at once if charged for a short time. A plasma launcher with full battery is, in total, capable of firing up to twelve bolts, regardless of whether fired individualy or in bursts. The bolts track vehicles and infantry in a similar way to the Needler, although slightly differently- a red circle will appear around a target to indicate the Launcher is "locked on". Note also that the Plasma Launcher has a 2.5x Zoom capability, better than the Human Rocket Launcher in fact, and when zoomed in, enables the user to lock onto targets from farther away than unzoomed. These bolts will continue to track even if the operator is killed. The Plasma Launcher is carried in combat by high-ranking Grunts, Elites, and Brutes.

Brute Shot

The Type-25 Grenade Launcher (more commonly known as the Brute Shot) is a Covenant weapon favored almost exclusively by the Jiralhanae.
The Brute Shot has a rather peculiar design, as the user carries it low, rather than using the hilt or handle of a weapon. It has a fast firing rate for a grenade launcher; capable of firing four grenades in about three seconds. Like the other Brute weapons, it has a blade slung onto its bottom to use for devastating melee attacks. The Brute Shot can hold up to 6 rounds, with 12 rounds in reserve. The melee attack on the Brute Shot is very deadly, depleting shields with one hit. The Brute Shot is very hard to aim, as it sometimes drifts. It has a 3-second fuse that causes it to detonate after a certain range. The splash damage from this weapon is rather high. It features a sharp curved bayonet on its underside, which is used as a powerful weapon.
